P.S. The BIG question is what could/would be the item that triggers civil war? At what point do people become willing to fight and, if need be, die for the sake of a ’cause’.
The kulaks of early 1920s Russia were too busy with their day-job to join the White Russian army, which was the only thing that stood between them and the Soviet socialists. As a result the Soviet socialists won their civil war.
Several years later, Lenin started to tighten the screws on the kulaks. And when they finally realized it was ‘fight or die’, it was too late. And between 1930 and 1931, 1.3 million kulaks were sent of to be ‘re-educated’. And they all, for all intents and purposes, died in training. [Note: I do believe that Lenin-Stalin provided Hitler with his inspiration for the 'Final Solution' to the Jewish problem.]
So, for all of US Latter Day Kulaks, i.e., anyone who owns property or operates a business, (1) think about what’s happened in the past, (2) pay close attention to what’s happening now and (3) be prepared.
The kulaks of old were too busy with their daily lives to see/hear the onrushing locomotive coming at them.
