Precisely. We need leaders in the West who are *egalitarian*, and seek to protect the liberty of each individual to make his or her own choices without the interference of government or special interest groups.
This is opposed to far right “leaders” who want to impose their own view of morality on the rest of society, or far left “leaders” who want to empower “historically victimized groups” with special rights and powers. Both are anathema to true liberty.
