Normally I despise LE’s ham fisted say-what-you-don’t-mean crap passed off as “satire” and I find saying what you actually mean better. LE makes some good points. Americans do know what they care about; the problem is that what they have enthusiasm for relegates who governs us to the cheap seats and voting almost an afterthought.
If Americans had as much enthusiasm for politics as they do for American Idol perhaps we wouldn’t have a moronic racist for President and a corrupt and cowardly congress selling the future of the country to the Third World day by day.
