Professor Massad was accused of intimidating his students and down-grading them for not agreeing with his political views. Was professor Swamy accused of something like that? No. Swamy was removed simply for an editorial he wrote that appeared in a newspaper half way around the world.

From the standpoint of one’s responsibilities as a professor, it was Massad who was accused of abusing his position; and yet the fact the he survived whereas Swamy didn’t seems to bolster Phyllis Chesler’s point, doesn’t it?
