Although I was aware of the boycott, we bought a new Mercury Grand Marquis GS recently in place of our 1987 GS that had 210K miles on it, and some aggravating little things wrong with it. Motor, A/C, and transmission were all O.K. Unfortunately, we were not aware that the new car would ride like a truck. The old car had “Ride Engineered” across the glove box. I assumed that the new car would be just as comfortable. It is not. Since we are “up in years” we appreciate comfort, and feel cheated.
