Tea Party Protests Sweep the Country: But What’s the Message? (Updated)
Conservatives and Republicans don’t have what it takes to protest. Liberals are used to it because we’ve been doing it for the last 40 years, speaking out against the destructive policies of you right wing fascists. We know how to do it. You don’t.
You’ll go down to your tea parties and Joe the Plumber will say, “Where are our leaders?” and Michelle Malkin will say, “It’s time for a NEW swastika!” and you’ll all bark into the local news camera and then go home and that will be the end of it. Why? Because you’re soft. You’ve had it your way for too long. You don’t know what it’s like to fight the power structure. You’re not willing to turn off the plasma TV and get off the couch and go out in the rain over and over again to express the truth.
Nope, you don’t have the balls. The only thing you got in you is a slurry of vague and anonymous threats stoked by frontier fantasies. You’re the ones who dress up like Civil War soldiers, who claim to be experts with guns – “been huntin’ all my life” – and then shoot each other in the face. You’re play tough, make-believe men who have never been challenged. You can’t even own up to your part in this economic shit hole we got after all the conservatism at work.
I tell my kids to do two things . . . keep your promises and clean up your own mess. They get it. They do it. You don’t. Frankly, you’re a bunch of pussies. Have fun with your tea bags.
