Martin Luther King, Jr. had much to do with encouraging the present day “anti-American wing of contemporary liberalism.” He literally told blacks that the United States was waging a racist war against the Vietnamese! King was a convinced anti-anti-Communist who argued that the United States exaggerated the threat of Communism because those in power wanted to continue exploiting blacks and other victims of oppression. King’s number one advisor (and occasional ghost writer) Stanley Levison—was also a staunch communist.
