In regards to purchasing in America, we have such a wonderful priviledge to buy what we want for whatever reason we choose. We choose to spend our family’s money with companies/stores that support our beliefs to the best of our knowledge. Money talks and the support individuals give to companies – sometimes ignorantly – does make a difference. A point made earlier – that all of the Big Three support gay marriage etc… is, although true, not advertised. I think we have to be educated – even more so today than ever before. Case in point – I didn’t catch the whole newscast but today on the news there was something that stated “our tax dollars support Planned Parenthood”. Do we even know what our tax dollars fund these days? I think it is probably impossible to be up on all the current “cultural debates” however, when we can find one we can research and stand behind, we need to.
