12-Libertyship46 makes good points. But, Phil, you need to look at that sentence again:
“Obama may make dozens of other controversial appointments in this manner, making a mockery of the Constitution’s advice and consent requirement to fill the federal courts and agencies with radicals who could never withstand Senate scrutiny, even with his own party controlling the Senate.”
It states: Obama … [is] making a mockery of the Constitution’s advice and consent requirement to fill the federal courts and agencies with radicals …”
Really? The Constitution requires radical appointments? That doesn’t sound quite right, but it is what the sentence says.
