It occurred to me since Holder made his comments during a Black History Month event at the Justice Department, he was touching on racial profiling. It may also have been a challenge toward African Americans to recognize the racism within themselves. That’s the real message behind his comments. We don’t talk enough about racial issues, casually dismiss the issue. or fail to see racism when its right in front of us.
