I agree with Jennifer that those are basic points of departure between Republicans and Democrats. I might call it capitalism versus socialism.
But how each party plans to win the tug of war between free market capitalism and revisionist socialism, for the heart and soul of America is where a vast difference arises.
To achieve their ends, Republicans plan to play by the rules. Fair debate. Honestly aired disagreements. Pointed commentary. Published and paid for media information dissemination. Assorted books. Writings. Oped pieces. And so on and so forth.
In a shooting war it would be require that both parties adhere to the 1864 and appended Geneva convention; rules the axis powers (germany, japan and italy) largely ignored.
Rules terrorists in Iraq ignore to the point of mockery. Unless you think cutting off people’s heads (Japan, WWII and terrorists (Iraq) is tantamount to playing by the rules.
The fly in today’s fair rules ointment is a simple fact:
Today’s Democratic Party has no intention of playing by any rules. They are the rules terrorists.
For instance, they’ve usurped the mainstream media, which was given constitutional protections because it was assumed that they’d proceed from a fairness, unbiased perspective in disseminating the news.
Moreover, today’s Democratic Party revels in the fact that NBC, CBS, ABC (highlighted by Sunday morning news talk TV) and virtually every major metropolitan newspaper carry their water.
Which is patently unfair to the point the media’s constitutional protections should be stripped from them like war medals from a war time traitor.
The Democratic Party is now trying to bias up radio by reestablishing a law that would lynch free speech by conservative talk radio, which survives now in a free market place; a touchstone of this country from its inception in 1776. (David,PajamasMedia,2/28/09)
Actually, the deceit and dishonesty; the cheating to get their way on the part of the Democratic Party can be clearly seen and documented all over the political road map.

You’d expect this to have been business as usual with, say, the National Socialist German Worker’s Party cerca 1938 in Nazi Germany. Not in the Democratic Party cerca 2009.
But, like a cancer under a doctor’s microscope, you can see the sleaziness and criminal corruption of the Democratic Party the way they use ACORN to steal votes and elections (Minnesota).
Going against the Democratic Party of Barack, Nancy and Harry is like having a fist fight when one of the opponents brings a knife.
The only they can be trusted is that they’ll do America dirt.
The once proud Democratic Party of FDR has been handed down to leftist thugs, scoundrels, liars, cheats, tax cheats, quasi traitors, money grabbers, journalistic frauds, social engineers, capitalist haters, American flag stompers, domestic terrorists, would be supreme court packers and pukes practicing the politics of personal destruction. Just ask Sarah Palin.
Consequently, no member of the Republican Party can expect a fair fight. You’re in a death struggle with the darkest, dirtiest side of moral ethical depravity and it stretches from sea to shining sea.
Barack Obama’s Democratic Party with its false Ayers, wrongheaded Wrights, hapless, the war’s lost Harrys, niggardly, greedy, socialist stained Nancys along with assorted frauds and mindless foul mouthed followers; pitiful excuses for freedom loving Americans who are sycophant idiot enablers of a sorry sordid process that fully intends to bankrupt our children’s future and destroy our way of life.
What do we do? That’s what your lil’ ole’ blue eyed Rachel is framing in her mind. It won’t be everybody’s answer to the biggest threat to our way of life since I first had a thinking and a metabolizing. But it will be the one I believe in. And I’ll be delighted to share it with you.
