I receive the AFA newsletter and, when the boycott against Ford was first announced, I wasn’t ready to sign the petition because I wanted to know why they just wanted to pick on Ford. So I wrote them and asked “why pick on Ford?”
I was surprised to receive a nice personal response that the other car manufacturers who advertize in gay magazines also advertize in magazines that feature Christian viewpoints. To them business is business.
Not so with Ford – they never place ads in Christian-theme publications; but they go out of their way to advertize in publications of moral questionability. And that made Ford an obvious (singular) target.
I was convinced – soon two new cars will become part of my household – sorry, but my Mazda will be replaced with a non-Ford product and my Chevy will be replaced by another GMC product.
