Second Amendment Under Fire: Gun Ownership in the Obama Era
I’ve lived in every kind of American gun enviroment : Illinois, Mississippi, South Dakota (thumbs up), California (thumbs down) and Michigan. State restrictive gun laws are largely ignored by real gun folks. The purpose of the laws is to avalanche charges by prosecuters when an arrest is made. The illegal gun laws are the difference between : 1# two married folks hit each other and a neighbor called the cops. Both drunk, the man was charged with 42 felonies for gun ownership. #2 Cops found 2 grams of pot on a local fisherman, who also had a hunting rifle, 31 charges of drug dealing, gun violations and racketeering. Police confiscated his truck, guns, home and chicken coup.
I go so far as to avoid enslaved states (California, Illinios, the northeast) while on the highways, and stay in free states while it’s possible.
