Your report is logically flawed, drawing a correlation between the AFA boycott and Ford’s decrease in sales as if there were no other variables. No doubt the AFA boycott has reduced sales, but if Ford adopted anti-gay policies, it would run afoul of laws in many jurisdictions, lose considerable employees, including key managers and executives, and invite a boycott from those who oppose discrimination. The AFA grossly exaggerates its numbers. Many people like myself are on AFA’s email subscribers list to monitor its actions and statements, and to respond in comments. We are counted as supporters when we strongly oppose its bigoted and anti-Christ agenda (its statements and conduct are antithetical to Christ’s teaching). But returning to your article, I’m disappointed that a CPA could prepare such a flawed report.
