Driven a Ford Lately? Not if You’re Boycotting

I appreciate AFA and other upstanding moral organizations keeping me informed on issues that get skirted in mainstream media. Helps this conservative, Republican (hint, hint) make better, informed decisions. I bought my first car, a Ford, in 1981. For its time, it was a solid, dependable, affordable car for me. Since then, I’ve owned a used Chev and used Camry with equal success. I keep mine a while. About 3yrs ago, I decided I wanted to start shopping for a new auto, a small-midsize truck. In Dec.06, I started my quest. My wishlist was quite specific so I had a good idea of the products that would meet my needs. I was leaning toward Toyota again but I began noticing Ford products. The 06-07 models were outwardly looking quite sharp to me. I was impressed that Ford might have finally gotten their groove back and were headed in the right direction. Then I read about the AFA boycott but still made my choices in this order..Ford Explorer Sport Track, Nissan Frontier, Toy Tacoma, or Honda Ridgeline. After many months of reading, talking, and test drives, the equipment I wanted narrowed those to Ford and Honda. I’d been saving for a long time and was prepared to buy on the spot whatever I chose. In Oct.07, I selected the Honda over the Ford. The absolute only reason I walked away from the Ford was this boycott. The mainstream media reports nearly every single day of Fords decline. Picture this..Ford jumps out of a plane with a parachute all elated and cocky, confidently pulls the main chute cord. All is well, as Ford enjoys the leisurely decent. Then the main chute develops a tiny tear–the immorality hole. Ford feels a bump but smiles and disregards the potentially life-threatening problem afterall “I AM FORD.” The descent is increasing and more bumpy. Ford remembers the safety chute and sees it label MORALITY cord. But the arrogance of Ford refuses to do the sensible thing. Instead, selfishly, defiantly, Ford spirals down out-of-control. Many people will suffer if Ford does not put aside it’s pride and take hold of the safety cord. I believe God is dealing with Ford in a way this country and the world has never seen. Of course, the power of God and His followers will be scoffed as this story continues to unfold.I pray those in charge at Ford to turn from this defiant behavior before it’s too late. I hate to see so many suffer at the hand of the few.
