I can’t speak to the overall impact the AFA boycott has had on Ford. I’m sure if other auto manufactures were under the spot light we’d find plenty of folks lining up to complain about them as well. I can’t even point to any one thing that I believe is the single cause of Ford’s demise. To me this is all smoke and mirrors.
What is clear to me is this: Before learning of their support of the “gay agenda”, I was a loyal Ford customer. Boycott or not, Ford forced me to make a decision about what I will or will not financially support.
To this day it baffles me as to why Ford would want unnecessary decision like this forced on its customers. I personally know of 12 other people who, like me, may choose based on this alone. I think they’d be better off focusing their resources on building better automobiles. They’re solely responsible for changing their image to “Ford Agenda Company”.
Forget quality or gas milage, I’ll follow their lead and make my “Ford” decision based on an agenda as well.
