It’s cocktail hour again, so let me say this before I have one more double shot of Tennessee sipping whiskey on the rocks. Why is it that a large percentage of our black fellow citizens demand to be held to lower standards (affirmative action) than Asian Americans and White Americans? In my dealings with people, I try to follow the “Golden Rule”: “Do unto others as you would have done unto you.” But if a person wants to be treated like a helpless ward of the state because he or she can’t compete with the rest of us, what am I supposed to do? – pat him or her on the head. I’m sorry, but I won’t do that. But there are plenty of Democrats who will.
