I am one of the supporters of the Ford boycott because of AFA. I also own a Ford Explorer and purchased it new in 2000. My transmission is going out. Both of the heads on the engine had to be replaced when the car was under warranty (only because I bought the extended warranty). Now my warranty has ran out and I will have to pay for the transmission to be replaced. I have less than 40,000 miles on this car. I would never buy a Ford product again due to the problems I have had with my vehicle as well as what the company stands for.
