Just think of him as our first PWAC since Jimmy Carter (President Without A Clue). He’s in over his head but he’s too arrogant to know it. My theory is that he never expected to win; he entered the race as practice for 2012 or 2016, and rapidly became a CWAC when he pulled ahead of Hillary. He stumbled the rest of the way through while trying to figure out WTF he was gonna do if he actually won, and we can now see the results; he’s letting everyone else run the show while he continues to campaign (against himself, as it’s turning out).
