#2. Alex:
“How are these signs any different than fundamentalist Christians listing their own countdown to the apocalypse, and their desire to bring it about ?”

If you really are THAT ignorant, you shouldn’t post comments here.

Go and read the Apocalypse of St. John the Divine and then report back to me where it calls for Christians to nuke anyone or make any wars to hasten Armageddon.

The Fundamentalist Christians, most notably the Evangelicals, believe that they must spread the Word of God to every nation on Earth.
That’s about it, fella:
“Here’s the Bible, have a nice day!”

“Radical fundamentals on both sides should be forced to live on their own Island and battle it out among themselves, leave the rest of Humanity out of their turf war.”

Nice…you lump devout Christians in with Iranian theocrats who support terrorist organizations, and who sent twelve year olds to find land mines with their feet.

Mind my asking what the f*ck Christians ever did to you to merit such an absurdly simplistic equation?

“It creates madness and the sincere belief that you are right, everyone else is wrong,”

You really are profundly miseducated about a faith that you probably have lived with and among all your life.

Ever heard of Humility and Contrition?
They are the precursors to Confession, which is the necessary component to Salvation.

And you can only benefit from that if you realize that you DO NOT know it all, and you are NOT perfect, and that there are some things that only God’s Grace can bestow.

Hasn’t anyone ever explained this about us to you?
Or have you listened only to the avowed Godless?
