I take issue with the fiction that Charlie Crist is “one popular governor” in Florida. I live here and I can tell you that Crist has p*ss’d off people from every spectrum of political life–conservative, liberal, old, Hispanic, young, African-American, you name it–with his wishy-washy handling of property tax and insurance. Crist is angling for national office and he really should make a move sooner rather than later, because I coubt he’d get re-elected here.
On the other hand–Romney is spending a LOT of money in Florida and I suspect that will put him over the top. Crist’s endorsement will just irritate voters.
