Elaine, yours are better ideas than I’ve heard from any politician. Most of us don’t have a problem with immigration, just illegals. All must go through the vetting process. The first comment on the page from Mary Gerund explains the real problem with open borders. But there’s one more issue with it, we must have quotas. I don’t care if they’ve been here 20 years or not. We can absorb some but we cannot support the world.
