…it would take a hair-trigger to be provoked by such (to violence) and anyone or any group that has such a hair-trigger cannot be expected to live in a peaceful coexistence for any extended period of time, anyway, as some minor provocation (that normal, sane people would just brush off) would eventually drive the poor, offended muslims to inane violence.
That’s actually the point. Keep Europeans on tenterhooks, in fear of outbursts and demonstrations, and have them live in a mild state of fear of giving “offense”.
Which kinds of tactics have, to some extent, been successful.
You’d be walking around wondering what package wrapper or operatic aria or words in a novel…or cartoons…might give “offense”.
Any time demands are acceded to or tacitly “met”, it is another chink in the armor for disruption of secular, democratic societies.
