Ayaan Hirsi Ali, no stranger to criticism of Islam herself, argues that Wilders should not air a movie whose sole and exclusive aim is to provoke and to insult – and she is right.
Wilders’ film sounds different in intent than Hirsi Ali’s and Theo van Gogh’s Submission.
Many in Holland are (justifiably) exasperated but, it sounds like Wilders wants to be in your face for the sake of being in your face.
