Some leftie here claimed that “The left believes in liberty, fairness and equality.”. Actually, liberty-fairness and equality of result are the opposites. You can pick either liberty and fairness or you pick equality of result. You cannot have both. And if you choose equality of result, you will betray freedom and justice – and most likely you won’t get equality either. It was always like that. Lenin, Mao Castro promised you equality and liberty – and in the end you got neither.
