Here’s something to take into consideration though. Do you remember a month ago when it was reported the Leon Panetta’s daughter was an “anti-American, anti-military, avowed Marxist”? Conservative radio ran with this. Well it was later revealed that the person in question wasn’t his daughter. He doesn’t have one. Did you ever hear a retraction? I didn’t. It’s crappy reporting like this that’s giving the fairness doctrine more of an implied legitimacy.
