Sorry, Vivo, it’s the same world we’ve always had. Obama, as American President, is powerful, but he’s not a demi-god; he can’t just wave his hand, make miracles and create everything anew.
As a powerful man, however, his actions will be, and must be, open to criticism, scrutiny, and, if he’s headed in the wrong direction, then, yes, he needs to be called on it. You think he’s headed in the right direction? Good for you. So far, I don’t. Instead of insulting conservatives, telling them to shut up, and stop disagreeing with The Great One Who Hath Made the World Anew, why don’t you try proving to us HOW he’s heading in the right direction?
And how are Republicans segregating the country into separate societies, and where do you get the idea that they claim to be the only ones who are patriots? As I recall, the Dems were pretty good at thumping the I’m-a-patriot drum, with their constant “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism!” chant. (Which it isn’t, anymore, now that The One Who Hath Made the World Anew is President, we’re supposed to just shut up and follow orders. I sense cognitive dissonance here).
As I also recall, the Dems were opposed to any, and everything, Bush did, and showed little concern about unifying the country when they were opposing “The Chimp”.
