I wonder if the fact the Gregg once called for the elimination of the Department of Commerce played a cynical role in his nomination by Obama. I mean, if you’re gonna put a republican in your cabinet, and you want to gut the Department of Commerce so that you can control the Census, why not nominate the republican that apparently wouldn’t have a problem with it?
