This, of course, is NOT news. It’s been this way since I worked South Central 25 years ago. The difference is that the Internet now permits good cops to write about these issues anonymously. How sad that Jack must use a false name to avoid retaliation that would surely come if identified. Candor is not one of the LAPD’s (or LA City’s) best traits. Thank you, Jack Dunphy, for making LA’s politicians and mainstream media uncomfortable.
