Be fair. People did not vote because of his skin but for his seeming intellectual capacity and vaulting rhetoric. And America proved her political greatness in voting for Obama. That is the pure, unsullied concrete historical fact.
But Obama is a lawyer by training and breeding and he is into something that is way over his head. The audacity of dreams and hope is just not enough to cut it. He knows law: he knows nothing of Keynes, von Mises and Hayek.
