Obama isn’t stupid. But he believes in his heart of hearts (as do many Democrats) that the major problem in the world is America. So if he makes us into what the world wants there will be peace. It is this fundamentally incorrect philosophical underpinning that leads him, and unfortunately us, down this path of danger.
He is unwilling to confront a hostile Illinois legislature what makes anyone believe he can out negotiate murderers?
