I’m not commenting to defend Paul but just for balance how about – Rober Byrd? -You do know about him right? For those who don’t he’s a powerful long standing Democratic senator from West Virginia who began his career as a recruiter for the KKK. And how about the current crop of Republican presidential candidates who never feel uncomfortable spouting off about our “shared” Judeo-Christian heritage or make disparaging remarks about Islam in the name of “the war on terror”. How about the two Democratic front runners basically running on race and gender as their most qualifying features? How about the constant call to bleed “the rich” from Edwards. Find me a candidate without flaws, personal or otherwise. They are all demagogues in one way shape or form.
