I already knew someone was going to say that so I was prepared when I read your statement. I am sorry you feel this way because joining the military does not make you a man. Experiencing the military does, however. I have been in the Army for 6 years and I can tell you right now that the brand new enlisted are just as naive as any other 18 year old. Give them a few years (maybe a deployment in between) and then they can say they know a little on how the world works. I’m so sick of hearing people use that excuse…Joining the military makes you a man. Sorry, but it doesn’t.
