GHB was an officer in our Armed Forces. Are you demeaning those Guardsmen and Reservists who don’t get deployed during a conflict? Is a soldier a soldier? One cannot be a soldier and a draft-dodger in the same military, can one? We do need to keep some of the men and women stateside, you know. Yet I know it’s a losing argument, as Bush Sr., Bob Dole, and John McCain are heroes with quite a few decorations and they were discounted by many in the lib establishment.
