Say something nice about George Dubya and some folks just can’t quit foaming at the mouth.

I like the guy. He has been a good Commander-in-Chief. Invading Iraq was an astute move that will pay dividends well into the future. Afghanistan is no longer a privilged sanctuary for terrorists.

His tax cuts came in very handy for me and my family in the post 9-11/dot com years of 2002 and 2003.

I do wish he had cracked the whip on his fellow Repubs spending. Can’t have everything though.

Current economic mess is much for the fault of welfare-statists than anybody else. And Bush’s successor is even more clueless about what to do.

Bush was far superior to that whore-hopping hillbilly who preceded him. The imbecile of a meglomaniac whom he defeated in 2000 would have
been a perpetual catastrophe. And I won’t even go into the sordid career of that yellow-livered, slanderous coward whom the Demorats
nominated in 2004.

The Man From Midland, along with his wife, is
typical of what our home area (the Permian Basin) produces. There are about 400,000 of us
and we may become a defining socio-cultural matrix worldwide. An awesome proposition to be sure. However, our folkways may be just what the Doctor ordered in this 21st Century.

And if anybody thinks the half-baked Chicago go-fer currently in the White House will cause us to change our ways, you have got another think coming. This game is just starting.

PS To Alex in CT: Why don’t you come out to the Air Sho, next time the Confederate Air Force is performing? You will have a good time, meet some wonderful folks and so forth and so on.
Hang around and you can learn about the oil bidness while studying Shakespeare at the Globe Theater. Also learn about where she really Wore A Yellow Ribbon, about Maxmillian’s Gold, and a few other tidbits as well. We shall bid you welcome.
