Tom Daschle Withdraws: Another Ethics Casualty for Obama
These Obama Administration appointees, only recently key lobbyists, were improperly selected.
These weren’t ‘waivers’. They were repeated breaches of new ethics rules promulgated by the POTUS.
And tax evasion is not ‘oversight’, ‘mistake’, or ‘inadvertent’, it’s a CRIME. If a person familiar with federal laws fails to pay ANY significant amount of back taxes, ESPECIALLY if he pays up ONLY when he is nominated to a Cabinet post, then he is a criminal.
And ‘conflict of interest’ apparently means nothing to Obama. Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, is indebted to Arab oil tycoons through the Clinton Foundation.
As someone whose credibility in the Middle East should be unimpeachable (sorry), Hillary will have none at least as far as Israel is concerned.
Any attempt by Hillary to negotiate between Israel, Palestine, Syria and/or Lebanon will rightly be perceived as putting Israel on the defensive.
Many of us knew Obama as a lightweight who voted ‘present’ for a living. Now that he’s driving the bus, many more Americans are realizing that he has almost no clue what in the hell he’s doing.
