Sorry but it is difficult to argeue with someone who doesn’t want to see the facts.
IN 1932 USA was not only the first power in world but also the first technological one by 1940 it was no longer the leader in technology. He took a hungry country and eight years after when the war started it was as hungry as it was in 1932. In eight fricking years he had been unable to make more than token progress (are you going ever to look at the number of unemployed or are you much in fear that they will shatter your dream?) before the war pilled his chestnuts from the fire.
He mismananged Germany and Japan being unable to do the 101 in Politics: adequate your military to your foreign policy and viceversa. Tens of thosands of Ameriacsn, millions of chinese and filipino would die because by 1941 American forces were equiped with crap. Also he allowed the Japanese Navy to surpass the US Navy: despite Midawy it was not before mid 1943 that America reached parity in carriers with the IJN.
He put the red carpet for Stalin, gave him half of Europe to murder, rape and oppress. He allowed thousands of commuinist agents to infiltrate the administration. His grotesque plans of recomposing Europe’s map have mùade that even today the French are resentful of America’s role in WWII. Through too much reading of Pearl S Buck he beacme infatuated with corrupt Tchang Kai Check and played right into the hands of Mao. And last but not lesst, he helped the Seud to say in power preventing the more moderate Hashemites of taking back Mecca: the Hashemites as direct descendants of Mahoma had no need to play more islamic than thou in order to gain legitimacy (in fact they weren’t opposed to a jewish preence).
The more I look at FDR’s action the least esteem I have fir him. At this point I place him under Johnson. Force me to investigate him a bit more and I will end wondering if he wasn’t a traitor.
