Obama WAS there. Didn’t you see him? He flew over in Air Force 1. Went real low, too, just to show how much he cares. What, did you want him to actually DO somehting? Why would he? It’s Kentucky for gosh sake. You ever been to Kentucky? You know what kind of people live there?
Sure he was a little late flying over because he was in Texas having birthday cake with John McCain while the storm was going on. But just as soon as he could he committed to a selfish and perfunctory display of concern which I am sure will be followed up by an equally pathetic speech under the blue lights of Dred Scott Square there in the beautiful little town of Monkey’s Paw.
How about this . . . where is Mitch McConnell? He’s from Kentucky. And why did he leave the military after just nine months? My nephew left after nine months, too. He’s in San Francisco now.
