If this had happened during Bush’s administration, we would have been hearing non-stop about how Bush failed the country, how it was all somehow his responsibility (Bush couldn’t control the weather either, but that was never accepted as an excuse in his case), and that the Karl Rove and Dick Cheney had somehow manipulated things behind the scenes, in order to attack innocent Americans.
Funny how having a “D” after the president’s name can change things.
Meanwhile, you’ve gotta wonder why FEMA always seems unable to do much of anything in these situations. Let them do their job? Uh, who’se stopping them?
