37…if little Finland had not “created violence and killed people” in response to the unexpected invasion by the Soviet Union in 1939 and basically fought them to a standstill for months, Finland would not have survived as a nation.
Finland’s leaders didn’t think, and neither do I, that surrender to avoid violence is a logical choice for a sovereign nation.
