I like Ron Paul, though I don’t like his cock-eyed view of the WOT, or America’s role in the world, much less his Iraq-centric view that the war is responsible for all of America’s ills past and present.
That said, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that this stuff wasn’t written by him and he doesn’t beleive it and accepts “moral” responsibility for it happening.
My question – how could an intelligent man let something like this go on for as long as it did? Does that say something about his ability? Shouldn’t he have KNOWN what was going out under his name. All this stuff didn’t happen in just 1 issue.
So, either he is an incompetant manager, he delegated the newsletter to someone else and didn’t oversee it (which means he is incompetant or stupid), or perhaps just perhaps he really is one of the right-wing lunatics that believe in the UN black helicopter fantasies.
I would love to see a real Libertarian in the Presidencey, but I would prefer one that I know doesn’t believe the 9/11 nutjobs who think BushCo perpetrated 9/11. I would prefer one that doesn’t pander to America hating “conspiracy” theorists!
