I am told that Ron Paul “dealt with” the bigoted content of his newletters “long ago.” Now that the New Republic has provided links to Paul’s newsletters, will Paul supporters provide links to Paul’s long-ago rebuttals that dealt with them?
If I supported Paul, I would not be arguing that Paul’s newsletters are “out of character” or that it’s somehow understandable that, for years and years, he wasn’t made aware of the bigoted contents of a newsletter bearing his name that he owned and from which he profited. I would simply provide links pointing to Paul’s timely disavowals and indicating that the disloyal staffers who wrote the bigoted content were swiftly identified and fired.
Can any Paul supporter be bothered to take fifteen minutes away from the comment spamming to provide this evidence? You all seem quite familiar with it, so I’m confident it exists. Thanks for your help.
