Olivia says:

“I have no idea if Ron Paul wrote this stuff himself, but even if it was written by someone else and Ron Paul’s name was on the top, he had ultimate responsibility for it.”

So if I start the Olivia __________ (last name here) Newsletter and make borderline racist comments, are you responsible?

His name had some cache with Libertarian and other limited government advocates in the mid to late 80′s, and allowed someone to use his clout to advance the cause. He was a busy MD, and claims to have not known what was printed until well after the fact, at which time he was very angry and publically disavowed the content – and rescinded his acquiesence to using his name.

Again… much adieu about nothing, aimed at the ignorant undecided voter who doesn’t know more about any candidate than what they’ve heard on news channel sound bites and the periodic campaign commercial. That’s why we keep getting weak junk like the Don Black story and recycled pap like this.

Believe what you want, Olivia. That is, of course, your right. It doesn’t, however, make it factually accurate or even remotely close to reflecting Dr. Paul’s personal beliefs or worldview.
