I suspect Bill Ayers is genuinely nuts – I mean, there are self-serving elements in what he says and does that make him seem more rational, but he’s sold out so thoroughly that even considering all the “get in the institution if you’re really radical and change it from in there, man” stuff, his anti-capitalist logic doesn’t add up: he’s become part of the system he wanted to destroy.

This irony is probably considered best by examining his writings: I’ve spent probably too much time looking at “Narrative Push/Pull.”
