I don’t think it is so simple. Eurabia and Londonistan had many immigrants, that’s true, but all alone immigrants would not change policy of these countries so diametrically.
You are forgetting that after oil embargo the price of oil went up and up. Majority of rulers benefiting from that increase invested their money in western economies, in factories, in banks, in hotels. They also “invested” in universities, in academia teaching students Arabic language and culture. One of the first country oil sheiks invested in was UK and some of the EU states. That way they not only got a say in decision making of the countries they invested in but they got say in what is taught at the universities. They also got say in who is leading prayers in the mosques as they built majority of mosques in the countries of EU . Sounds familiar? it should. The same policy is making inroads in US and Canada as well as in former socialist countries of Europe (Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic etc).
So you had on one hand a increasingly more populous and more militant Muslim immigrants and on the other hand you had many people in academia, in businesses and in politics who increasingly supported agenda of oil countries (knowingly or unknowingly).
To put it all together:
The politicians wants votes – and the younger voters are increasingly of muslim religion and increasingly under the influence of muslim brotherhood, ME television and radical preachers.
The businessmen want business – and many of decidents are sheiks from saudi arabia or emirates
The academia people (orientalists) want money for their projects- and they are getting money from rich ME people, but the money come with strings.
And finally the euuropeans remember oil embargo, they are afraid that their houses will get cold with little or no electricity, and their movement will be constricted with little or no gasoline.
So they are caving in.
