Fury in Holland Over Wilders Prosecution

The prosecution completely validates Wilders. The Netherlands is now dancing to the tune of a religion that proscribes apostasy. On that account alone Islam should be criticized: not to mention the daily attacks being carried out world wide in the name of this religion

And how do Wilders’ Dutch critics respond? With sophistry, to wit:

“My problem is that I think that the argument of Islam being inherently violent is not convincing. They take some verses that are very vicious yes. Want vicious?

“And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”

“Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.”

Both these gems, as you can imagine, are from the Bible. Yet somehow Christians and Jews are not ordinarily associated with unspeakable violence of that nature. As a nonbeliever, much more important than what your holy text SAYS is how your faithful ACT.”

This film reviewer describes herself as a non believer, but she is in fact a non-thinker or she would know that no place on God’s green earth today are Christians and Jews killing people for adultery. This isolated passage, however, is enough for her to proclaim cultural equivalence.
