Yawn. Here’s a sleazy hit piece written by a very vocal Giuliani supporter coming out on the same day as a major presidential primary. What a calculated smear job, complete with out of context, unverified, supposed quotes. Even the New York Times was forced to print a retraction after pulling a similar stunt earlier this election.

Ron Paul is the Republican running with the most African American support, who speaks of MLK constantly, whose potential running mate (Walter Williams) is African American, and has one of his closets congressional allies in Barney Frank (gay). To believe Ron Paul is a huge bigot, requires you to believe that Ron Paul goes on tv and damages his position in the GOP by saying (1) he doesn’t believe being gay is a sin and (2) same sex marriage should not be banned by the federal government, and (3) that the war on drugs unfairly targets blacks, but ONLY because deep, deep down, you see, he’s actually a closet bigot who will unleash his super secret plans after being elected to the Presidency, having been somehow propelled there by the .01% of flaming bigots in this country who have the ability to understand the special insider “code words” he uses when he speaks. I’m sorry, exactly who is the loony conspiracy nut here? Ah, yes, that would be Kirchick. And for the record, Kirchick has already stated he doesn’t believe Ron Paul is a bigot, but simply “likes getting his supporters upset.” Garbage, unethical journalism.

Even if you don’t like Ron Paul, you should be concerned, because these kind of cheap, smear pieces could be used against your candidate next! I’m a New Yorker, but I’m standing up for Ron Paul and against this unethical Giuliani supporter on this one.
