Much adieu about nothing…..

I’ll select a few favorites:

“We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, but it is hardly irrational.”

As a half black man who you wouldn’t know had African derivations by looking, I don’t see a thing here that is racist. I don’t walk down a dark alley when I see black teenagers. You’d be hard pressed to argue with statistical evidence that a greater fear of black males (relative to white or asian males) is unjustified.

“The riots, burning, looting, and murders are only a continuation of 30 years of racial politics.”

I’d love to hear your rationalization that the riots weren’t a product of a system that divided people along racial lines. Clearly, the class and racial divisions perpetrated in the name of policies promoting ‘racial equality’ – a concept completely foreign to a free society based on individual liberty – lead to resentment, hostility, and eventually acting out.

“We must not kowtow to the street hoodlums and their sanctimonious leaders.”

What a racist statement. A good person kowtows to hoodlums.

This is just another attempt to smear a true leader, to convince us that he’s the boogie man so that the people keep voting against our own interests. Even if I accept the characterization of Paul’s writings proffered by the original author, I would still support him as the lesser of all possible evils out there. I don’t accept his premise, and will continue to support the good Dr. enthusiastically.
