BTW, we do not know the racial breakdown of that 54%.
There is a very large Hispanic and AA segment to the Catholic vote.
The Pope has now openly condemned that abortion move. Many now look very foolish in their communities. If the current pope does not die in the next two years, one can expect that the senior clergy will be quite vocal about this.
I doubt if Obama will be able to keep together the voters that he managed to hoodwink last year. It will break up by the end of the year, I’d bet.
