Could you tell me what monotheistic religion should these women convert to ? After all Christianity is the religion of majority of americans so even if many muslims wanted to convert to Christianity the number of converts from Christianity to Islam would be larger that the other way round. Furthermore many Muslim women who would like to convert to other religions can not do so as the penalty for apostasy in Islam is quite stiff, and that is an understatement.
as for the violence – tell me how many Muslims call police in case of domestic violence? The answer is not many because majority of believers in Islam think that government and the police is their enemy. They are taught that way by many of their Friday prayer leaders, by Islamic organisations and by the experiences they (or their parents) had in the countries they came from.
